Dentures

Custom-crafted dentures to restore your smile, improve chewing and speaking, and support your facial structure. We offer complete, fixed partial, and removable partial dentures tailored to your needs.

What Are Dentures?

Dentures are prosthetic devices designed to help patients with missing teeth chew food, improve speaking habits, and enhance facial appearance. When teeth are missing, the mouth area can take on a sunken, collapsed look. By restoring the physical presence of teeth, dentures correct this issue, support your mouth, and improve your overall appearance.

Aesthetic dentures are custom crafted to provide a precise, comfortable fit and to enhance your facial features. We carefully select the color of the teeth and choose natural differences in tooth shape and size based on your age, gender, and unique facial qualities. Our dentures replicate gum tissue naturally while providing proper structure and support for your lips, cheeks, and face.

Types of Dentures

We offer three types of dentures to meet your specific needs:

Complete Dentures

Complete or full dentures are designed for people who have lost all or most of the teeth on either the upper or lower arch of the mouth. These dentures restore full function and appearance.

Fixed Partial Dentures

Most patients missing only a few teeth opt for fixed partial dentures, also known as "crown and bridge." These are precisely installed, especially when positioned between healthy teeth, and remain permanently in place.

Removable Partial Dentures

Removable partial dentures are ideal for people who have lost too many teeth for fixed dentures but too few for full dentures. They can be taken out for cleaning and are a flexible, cost-effective solution.

Stability of Dentures

A common concern with dentures is their ability to remain in place during use. Denture stability depends on three key factors:

Support

Support refers to how well the denture resists vertical movement toward the gums when you chew. The better the support, the less likely the denture is to shift downward during eating.

Stability

Stability prevents horizontal movement—slipping front to back or side to side. The quality of the denture base is responsible for maintaining continuous contact with your gums. However, this also depends on your unique oral anatomy.

Retention

Retention describes how well the denture resists moving vertically away from the gums into the mouth. The better the inside of the denture copies your oral topography, the more effective the seal.

Upper dentures typically achieve better retention due to improved suction from the smooth palate surface. Lower dentures are often more effective if you still retain some natural teeth, which help anchor the appliance.

Common questions
How long does it take to get used to dentures?+

Most patients adjust to new dentures within a few weeks. You may experience some initial soreness or difficulty speaking and eating, but this improves as your mouth adapts. We will schedule follow-up visits to ensure proper fit and comfort.

Will my dentures look natural?+

Yes. We custom-craft aesthetic dentures to match your natural tooth color, shape, and size. We carefully consider your age, gender, and facial features to create a smile that looks and feels like your own.

How do I care for my dentures?+

Remove and rinse your dentures after eating, brush them daily with a soft-bristle brush and denture cleaner, and soak them overnight in a denture solution. Continue to brush your gums, tongue, and palate each morning to maintain oral health.
